The Ensighten Developer Tools are available for Google Chrome and Firefox as either an add-in or extension.

Installing the Ensighten Developer Tools
Firefox
- Download from:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ensighten-developer-tools/
- Click Add to Firefox.
- Click Install Now.
- The Ensighten icon appears in the menu bar of the browser.
Chrome
- Download from:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ensighten-developer-tools/pcpaogkiacmmehpclbomfdhknjmndgpf
- Click Add to Chrome.
- The Confirm New Extension window appears, click Add.
- The Ensighten icon appears in the menu bar of the browser.
Using the Ensighten Developer Tools
Launch the tool to see your current Bootstrap configuration and either enable or disable the Developer Tools. Enabling Visual Tagger is only available with the Chrome extension of Ensighten Developer Tools .
Click Open Settings to open the Ensighten Developer Options input box:
Using the Ensighten Developer Options you can:
- Enable or Disable Developer Tools.
- When you Enable Developer Tools, choose a Bootstrapper Action:
- Rewrite - Instead of using a proxy or hosts file, you can redirect (rewrite) to a different environment, account or Space. Use Rewrite to test new versions of Apps by placing them in the testing environment and rewriting from the production Nexus TDN.
- Inject - Instead of using Charles Proxy or Fiddler, you can inject your Bootstrap.js into any website.
- Block - Use the Block option for troubleshooting by blocking requests to your website.
- Bootstrap Configuration
- Environment - Choose a different environment such as production, testing or pre-production.
- Account - Change the account name.
- Space - Change the Space setting to default, none, prod, stage, dev or custom.
- Enable or Disable Visual Tagger - This option is only available with the Chrome browser. Selecting Yes launches Visual Tagger.
