When using a Global Mbox with Adobe Test and Target you can dynamically pass additional parameters to provide more targeting or context information. This additional information is useful when you use an Mbox to provide product recommendations such as details about the currently viewed product or category.
targetPageParams() function to to pass additional parameters using an array, JSON object, or ampersand-delimited list. Place it before the Global Mbox code on the page. See the Adobe documentation for full details and examples.
Using the Manage Adobe Target App
- Select the Mbox deployment you want to edit.
- Click the check mark next to Customize to open the Custom before code section.
- Enter you
targetPageParams()function as shown in the sample below and then click Next:
- Complete configuration.
- Before you save, review the generated tag code. Your function is located immediately before the Mbox code as shown in the following example:
